About
I have always been passionate about all things anti-aging my entire life, or at least, at a very young age. Have you ever seen the movie “Death Becomes Her,” I was 14 years old when that movie was released. I wanted to be Isabella Rossellini’s character Lisle Von Rhuman, to possess the secret “elixir” against our physical aging-self. Aging is, of course, inevitable and it’s with time (starting around the age of 25 for most of us) that our face changes without the help of any needles. Would I go back to being 20 again, umm it was fun-mostly-but I think not. With age comes wisdom (hopefully), experiences, growth, and memories but no gray hair or deep wrinkle has to be “earned.” If 60 is the new 40 and 50 is the new 30 because we are living and staying active longer thanks to advances in all areas of medicine…I’d like to look as good on the outside as I feel on the inside. That’s why I love what I do; I believe in it-I practice it-I know it works!
Prior to practicing aesthetics, I enjoyed my nursing career in Women’s Health, Neonatal Intensive Care and Post-Anesthesia Recovery. After working within a hospital network for over 15 years, I had my own life-changing experience with an aesthetic treatment, that set in motion, a new career path.
Since the start of my aesthetic career, I have had the pleasure of training under highly skilled plastic surgeons and physicians in downtown Chicago, the North Shore, and surrounding Chicago area. I was given a new chance to translate my dedication to help and take care of people. I love the artistic channel that my job allows and even more is the glow I can feel in my client’s heart when they see a brighter version of themself again in the mirror. Truly loving ourself is what heals the world.
